Who should join?

You sit with people in their hardest moments. Sessions end, but the work doesn't always stay in the room. The heaviness follows you to your car, your dinner table, your sleep. Some of it is transference and countertransference doing its quiet work. Some of it is energy you picked up and never put down. Most training treats these as separate problems. They aren't. This webinar brings the two together. We look at transference and countertransference as energetic events, not just clinical ones, and we practice responding to them in real time. The grounding is mutual respect, truth-telling, and care: toward your clients and toward yourself. You'll learn clearing and grounding practices you can use before and after sessions, and language simple enough to teach to the clients and patients you serve. You'll finish the webinar able to recognize these dynamics as they unfold rather than untangling them later. You'll have a repeatable practice for letting go of what isn't yours at the end of the day. And you'll be able to hand usable tools to the people in your care, which deepens the work you do with them. A typical boundary workshop teaches you to detach. A clinical supervision group addresses the psychology but ignores the body and energy. Reading about energy hygiene on your own gives you concepts with no clinical grounding. This webinar does both at once: clinical understanding and embodied practice, in a single integrated framework.

What you'll learn

Describe transference and countertransference as they manifest within the therapeutic relationship and identify two energetic correlates of each dynamic.

Practice two grounding and energy hygiene techniques before and after client sessions.

List the components of a framework grounded in mutual respect, truth-telling, and care for transforming countertransferential reactions into clinically useful responses.

Select and verbalize strategies for teaching energy hygiene tools to clients and patients in language matched to their level of care.
