About the Peery-Menopause Circle

A peer support circle for midlife, real lives, and the in-between

  • What is this?

A peer support circle for midlife, neurodivergent lives, and the in-between If you’re noticing shifts in your mood, memory, sleep, cycles, skin, joints, libido, focus, patience, or sense of self and being told everything looks “normal” you’re not imagining things. Perimenopause is real. It’s messy, mysterious, under-explained, and often misrepresented or dismissed. And it’s one of the most under-supported transitions of adult life. Peery-Menopause is a 90-minute, every-other-week online circle for people navigating perimenopause and midlife with curiosity, candor, humor, and community. You don’t have to do this quietly. And you definitely don’t have to do it alone.

  • Who This Circle Is For

This is an affirming peer support space for people in midlife who want nuanced conversation, not hot takes or one-size-fits-all advice that comes with $500 a month in supplement purchases. You might be here because you’re: Wondering why your brain feels different (no, you’re not getting dumber); Navigating mood shifts, sleep changes, pain, or cycle weirdness; Curious about Hormone Therapy and hormone literacy; Dealing with medical gaslighting or fragmented care (if it exists at all); Re-examining identity, sexuality, creativity, or meaning; A practitioner wanting to better serve midlife clients without centering your professional role. All genders and identities are welcome. You don’t need a diagnosis. You don’t need to be sure you’re “in perimenopause enough.” You're well into menopause but still having symptoms.

  • What Happens in a Peery-Menopause Circle

Short, accessible talks that may include: Anatomy & physiology of midlife changes; Early and overlooked signs of perimenopause; Hormones, neurotransmitters, and the nervous system; Pain patterns, tendons, joints, and connective tissue; Sleep, mood, libido, and cognition; Hormone Therapy myths and literacy; Neuroplastigens, cannabinoids, topicals, and other supports; Sex. (Yes, really.) Some presentations may be recorded for educational use. A guided grounding or meditation to help integrate what you’ve heard and reconnect with your body. Circle-style reflection shares are the heart of the space. No cross-talk. No fixing. Just deep listening and being witnessed. Open community time for connection, questions, and resource-sharing without pressure to be polished, productive, or profound.

  • How We Hold the Space

This is peer support, not treatment. We share lived experience, not prescriptions. We practice: Confidentiality Speaking from personal experience Sharing airtime Respect for different choices and paths through midlife No masking required. No gold stars for pushing through.

  • Commitment & Access

Peery-Menopause meets every other week for 90 minutes online. If you can attend most sessions and contribute on a means-based sliding scale, we’re happy to have you. No one is turned away for lack of funds. Ever.
